Ainger Group is seeking steady, reliable Snow Shovelers to join our dedicated snow removal crews for the winter season. In this role, you will take pride in thorough, high-quality sidewalk clearing and deicing across commercial and residential sites. You will work alongside a small crew, following clear operational standards to keep walkways safe and accessible during every winter weather event.

Your day-to-day work focuses on executing site clearing plans, operating snow blowers and hand tools, and maintaining clear communication with your crew lead and dispatch.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Executing snow and ice removal plans for designated commercial and residential properties, clearing and salting all walkways and entrances.
• Conducting daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and hand tools, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
• Following all company and provincial safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your crew.
• Using application-based software to accurately record crew hours, materials used, and job completion status.
• Performing site inspections upon job completion to ensure work consistently meets company standards.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial snow removal, grounds maintenance, or outdoor heavy labor.
• Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfort using smartphone applications for digital record keeping and task completion.
• Physical ability to perform continuous heavy manual labor, including repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs in winter weather conditions.
• Flexibility to remain on call 24/7 throughout the winter season and respond promptly to weather events.

Schedule

• Weather-dependent schedule requiring 24/7 on-call availability during the winter season.
