Ainger Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Snow Shoveler Lead to direct sidewalk snow clearing operations across our service areas. If you take personal pride in high accuracy, maintaining equipment, and keeping crews safe during severe weather events, this hands-on leadership role offers an exceptional fit.

In this role, you will oversee sidewalk crews and equipment operators on commercial and residential properties, ensuring every contract is completed strictly to standard. You will lead by example on the ground, upholding safety protocols while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and management.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead and supervise sidewalk shovelers and equipment operators during active snow events.
• Execute snow and ice removal plans, ensuring all entryways and access points are salted and cleared.
• Enforce provincial safety regulations and company policies on every job site.
• Conduct pre-trip equipment inspections and final site quality checks.
• Track crew hours, site inspections, and material usage precisely using mobile applications.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in commercial snow removal or grounds maintenance, with crew leading experience.
• Strong commitment to process compliance, safety standards, and high accuracy.
• Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness and flexibility to be on call 24/7 for winter weather events.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in cold weather.
